U.S. Establishes Task Force Amid Escalating Middle East Tensions

The U.S. State Department has created a dedicated task force to monitor the rapidly evolving situation in the Middle East, particularly in light of growing tensions involving Iran, Israel, and Iraq. A Level 4 “Do Not Travel” advisory is now in effect for all three countries, urging Americans to avoid travel and for those currently in the region to leave when safe.

This move follows confirmation that U.S. foreign policy is currently being driven directly from the White House, with decisions shifting by the hour. President Trump has taken a dominant role, reportedly dismissing an intelligence assessment by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard suggesting Iran is not pursuing nuclear weapons.

His stance has shifted recently from advocating diplomacy to aligning U.S. action with Israel in what he now describes as a joint operation.

Amid the unpredictability, U.S. citizens and personnel in the region are being advised to remain alert for further developments, many of which are likely to emerge first via social media.
