Israel-Iran Conflict Escalates Amid Mounting Civilian Toll

Tensions between Israel and Iran have surged dramatically, with Israel claiming it has destroyed Iran’s internal security headquarters in Tehran. In response, Iran launched a fresh wave of missile attacks targeting Israeli territory.

U.S. President Donald Trump stated he is still evaluating potential military intervention, while Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned that any U.S. strike would result in “serious irreparable consequences.”

The conflict has already claimed over 240 lives in Iran, including 70 women and children, according to Iranian sources. At least 24 people have been killed in Iranian strikes on Israel.

Meanwhile, the war in Gaza continues to exact a devastating toll. The Gaza Health Ministry reports 55,493 deaths and 129,320 injuries since the conflict began. In Israel, 1,139 people were killed during the October 7 attacks, with over 200 taken hostage.
