On July 21, 2025, Tesla officially opened its first drive-in diner and Supercharger station in Hollywood, California, blending classic Americana with futuristic tech in a bold new concept.
Located on Santa Monica Blvd, the diner includes:
80 EV charging stations,
Two 66-foot movie screens for drive-in entertainment, Tesla-themed comfort food served in Cybertruck-inspired packaging, a Tesla Optimus robot that serves popcorn and greets guests.
The venue operates 24/7, allowing diners to watch movies either on the big screens or via the Tesla Diner app from inside their vehicles.
Expansion Plans:
Elon Musk announced on X (formerly Twitter) that if the concept succeeds, Tesla will roll out similar diners in major cities worldwide and at Supercharger sites along long-distance travel routes.
Musk has already responded positively to requests for a location in Starbase, Texas, home to SpaceX.
This launch marks Tesla’s latest foray into lifestyle branding, merging EV infrastructure with entertainment and dining—a move that could redefine roadside culture for the electric age.
